My Own Modest Proposal

According to the World Health Organization, Hunger is the gravest single threat to the world's public health. Instead of feeding the hungry or teaching them how to catch or grow their own food, they should be left alone that way they will teach themselves saving the western countries money, and man power also making the hungry more self-sufficient.
The giving of aid to the malnourished does not help them because they become dependent on aid thus making the problem worse. For example the great famine in Ireland, sure it killed millions and resulted in mass emigration, but look at them now, they are not starving anymore.
Yes thousands will die, but the population reduction will be a good thing because this will increase the amount of food a person gets.
The reduction will also help save resources and reduce pollution, it might also help us battle climate change in the long run, and we all know we need a population reduction just watch Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.
Governments will implement policies they may or may not work but they will learn and be more effective later on for example the great depression no country helped the other because they were suffering too so they were forced to act alone and those who did came through sure it did result in WW2 but look what that gave us: Nuclear bombs, U.N, Independence in 3rd world countries, The Cold War, The Man on the Moon all examples of progress…
Western countries have been giving aid to these countries with poor hungry people for decades so far I don’t think anybody sees any progress. Stopping aid will also allow countries to focus on their own problems if you watched Michael Moore’s Sicko you know what I’m talking about.
The idea proposed is cheap, easy and yet effective. Not one drawback can’t be fixed if found.
